GM Speaking to Brazilian Officials About Tax Breaks -Reuters

--General Motors Co. (GM) officials in Brazil are discussing the
possibility of receiving tax incentives in Sao Paulo state, Reuters
reported Tuesday.
--A memo to employees in Brazil, which was seen by Reuters, told
workers the company had taken losses in the country over the past
two years, the report said.
--The company's top two executives in South America spoke with
representatives of the company's unions and two mayors from cities
where GM plants are based, the report said.
