replacing and upgrading the information system in its transfusion
service following its current vendor's decision to discontinue
support for their system. After evaluating several systems, CMH
made the decision that SafeTrace Tx* offered the specific
capabilities needed to support the hospital's current and future
growth. "Deciding to move away from our previous vendor was
significant, since we had worked with them for many years. However,
during our evaluation process, we found that Wyndgate's SafeTrace
Tx system offered a number of advantageous features. These features
include better compatibility with our existing IT infrastructure, a
number of beneficial safety features, fast and easy access to
important patient information through Wyndgate's
Patient-At-A-Glance Bar(TM), and ISBT 128 blood labeling
capabilities," stated Clayton Johnson, Laboratory Director at CMH.
"We plan to move to the ISBT 128 standard this coming fall and our
transfusion service has grown considerably since expanding the
hospital's cancer care with the recent purchase of a linear
accelerator." Mr. Johnson continued, "We believe that the SafeTrace
Tx system can grow with us. We look forward to implementing the
system in the hospital and using it to provide the best advantage
to our physicians and patients." "Caldwell Memorial Hospital is
committed to meeting the health needs of its community with
high-quality care and the best medical technology available. It is
an honor to have been selected by such an upstanding hospital. We
look forward to working with the hospital's staff and providing
them with the best quality products and services we can offer,"
responded Noah Bentley, Sr., Director of Marketing at Wyndgate
Technologies. About Caldwell Memorial Hospital Caldwell Memorial
