Coeur Rochester Garners Safety Award

Coeur Mining, Inc. (“Coeur”) (NYSE: CDE) (TSX: CDM) announced
today that its Rochester mine was recognized for outstanding
achievement in safety by the Nevada Mining Association (NVMA). The
NVMA honored Rochester with its 2013 1st Place Safety Award for the
Surface Operations, Medium Mine category. The award is based on
performance in the 2012 calendar year.
