The estimated unaudited net asset value, calculated in accordance with the
guidelines of the Association of Investment Trust Companies, for Finsbury
Technology Trust PLC at the close of business on 6 January 2004 was 250.91p
after taking account of all income and providing for all expenses of the
company, including the annual management fee and any performance fee accruing in
accordance with the investment management agreement.
