          Blick plc ("Blick") - Statement Concerning a Possible Offer


The Board of Blick notes the recent rise in the Blick share price and announces
that it has received an unsolicited approach, which may or may not lead to an
offer being made for the entire issued, and to be issued, share capital of
Blick. The indicative proposal is for a cash offer of 300p per share.
Discussions are continuing and a further announcement will be made in due
course.
