Yoox-Net-A-Porter Drops Dolce & Gabbana After Racism Accusations -WWD

--Richemont's Yoox-Net-A-Porter business said it will remove
Dolce & Gabbana products from its e-commerce platforms after
the Italian brand's co-founder was accused of making racist
comments, fashion industry publication Women's Wear Daily
reports.
--The majority of leading Chinese e-commerce companies, like
Alibaba and JD.com, have already dropped the brand's products, WWD
reports.
--Dolce & Gabbana on Wednesday was forced to cancel a
Shanghai fashion show at the last minute after official promotional
videos and social-media comments by the brand's co-founder, deemed
racist toward Chinese people, caused public outrage, Dow Jones
Newswires reported.
--Yoox-Net-A-Porter declined to comment when contacted by Dow
Jones Newswires. Dolce & Gabbana referred Dow Jones Newswires
to a statement on the canceled show saying "what happened today was
very unfortunate not only for us, but also for all the people who
worked day and night to bring this event to life."
