Epicor Software Corporation (NASDAQ: EPIC), a leading provider of enterprise business software solutions to the midmarket and Global 1000 companies, today announced that Amiantit, an international manufacturer and distributor of pipes systems and pipes technologies, has selected the Epicor 9 next-generation enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for its German distribution subsidiary Jos. Hansen & Soehne. Building on Epicor's long history of success in Germany, this is the first Epicor 9 customer in the country.

Headquartered in Saudi Arabia and Dusseldorf, the Amiantit Group has been using Epicor's ERP solutions for the past 10 years and the company has plans to implement Epicor 9 in other subsidiaries as well after a successful pilot project in Germany. The European part of the Group uses Epicor ERP in nine countries including Germany, Poland, France, Spain, Romania, Norway, Turkey, South Africa, and Argentina. Amiantit opted for Epicor 9 because of this successful long term partnership.
