U.S. Dollar Rises Against Majors

The U.S. dollar strengthened against the other major currencies
in the Asian session on Monday.
The U.S. dollar rose to 0.9552 against the Swiss franc for the
first time since January 15. At Friday's close, the greenback was
trading at 0.9477 against the franc.
The greenback, which ended Friday's deals at 119.57 against the
yen strengthened to a near 3-week high of 119.94.
The greenback appreciated to 1.1159 against the euro for the
first time since January 26. The pair was trading at 1.1206.
Against the Australia, the New Zealand and the Canadian dollars,
the greenback edged up to 0.7777, 0.7533 and 1.2520 from last
week's closing quotes of 0.7818, 0.7559 and 1.2499,
respectively.
The greenback edged up to 1.5401 against the pound, from
Friday's closing value of 1.5444.
If the greenback extends its uptrend, it is likely to find
support around 1.03 against the franc, 122.13 against the yen, 1.10
against the euro, 1.51 against the pound, 0.75 against the aussie,
0.72 against the kiwi and 1.28 against the loonie.
