Pittards announces that it has today been informed that John W W Pittard,
Managing Director today sold 60,000 shares in the Company at a mid-market price
of 52.5p per share.



These shares have been purchased by a member of Mr Pittard's immediate family.
While, following this sale Mr John Pittard is not deemed to be beneficially
interested in these shares the shares, are nevertheless being retained by a
member of the family.   Mr John Pittard is now beneficially interested in
338,663 (1.53% of the issued share capital) shares and continues to have a non
beneficial interest in 849,917 (3.85%) shares.
