Johnson & Johnson said up to 200,000 Ebola vaccine regimens
will be made available as part of a World Health Organization early
access clinical program underway in Sierra Leone.
The WHO and the Sierra Leone government have started
administering the vaccine regimen as part of an effort to prevent
the further spread of Ebola in West Africa, the company said
Thursday.
J&J said its vaccine regimen, developed with Bavarian Nordic
A/S, also received prequalification from the WHO. The regimen is
being donated to the WHO, the company said.
