SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 9, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Summit Global Investments, LLC (SGI) today announced that it has launched three new funds that were effective June 8, 2020. The three funds, SGI Peak Growth Fund (Ticker: SGPKX), SGI Prudent Growth Fund (Ticker: SGPGX), and the SGI Conservative Fund (Ticker: SGCIX) were launched with the goal of expanding SGI's core "Managed Risk Approach" ™ to a wider variety of strategies. The Funds will be housed with their current series trust provider, The RBB Fund, Inc.

Summit Global Investment's "Managed Risk Approach"™ is the core philosophy at the firm, combining Risk, Return, and Impact of their client's assets. Their belief has evolved over decades of research and continuous revisions to understand and potentially exploit what reduces risk, avoids pitfalls and elevated idiosyncratic risks, and drive market returns. "We have been very pleased with the reception of our funds and investment philosophy," said Dave Harden, Lead Portfolio Manager and President of Summit Global Investments, "This is the next step in making our investment management more accessible to other channels, specifically the 401k market."

Each fund will invest in securities of affiliated and unaffiliated open-end mutual funds and exchange-traded funds ("ETFs") across six categories, with varying levels of risk. The SGI Peak Growth Fund invests primarily in Funds focusing on domestic equities and large capitalization foreign equities. The SGI Prudent Growth Fund favors Funds of domestic equity. The SGI Conservative Fund prefers Funds of investment grade bonds, with lesser amounts in other categories.

All three funds will be administered by the RBB Fund, Inc. Series Trust, whose lower cost and higher service levels allow SGI's team to focus on running their portfolios and servicing their clients. The three funds are now available in one share class with a minimum initial investment requirement of $1,000 at both Schwab and Fidelity.

"We are thrilled to work with Summit on their latest endeavor," said RBB Chairman Arnold Reichman. "They've been wonderful partners and we will continue to streamline the governance, so they can focus on seeking to deliver the best risk adjusted returns for their clients."
