EGR B2B Awards is an annual award competition dedicated to naming the best service providers and B2B operators in the online gaming industry while setting the standards of excellence for all online gaming products.

Entrants are judged by a selection of CEOs, MDs, and board directors of public companies, highly successful entrepreneurs, innovators and key advisors.

Playtech triumphed over other operators around the world to win the following awards: Bingo supplier of the year, Poker network of the year, Slot provider of the year and Bingo network of the year.

Playtech prides itself on offering innovative products and invested heavily in the past year to ensure its products are best of breed. In 2012 Virtue Fusion, Playtech's Bingo division invested a further €8m* in research and development of the Bingo solution. Such development enabled Playtech to launch features such as the syndicate Bingo, mobile Bingo, 6 new Bingo sites, 2 new bespoke Bingo variants, battle of clubs functionality, Multi-Stake Bingo and many more.

In the slots arena Playtech's innovation continues to shine with the new feature Everybody's Jackpot. The concept behind Everybody's Jackpot is that every player who played within the last 24 hours and placed the minimum bet will win a share of the jackpot, making everybody a winner. Additionally Playtech launched a variety of top tier branded slots featuring all-time favourites such as Marilyne Monroe, John Wayne, Thor and Monty Python's Spamalot to name a few.

In the Poker space Playtech has introduced a variety of features to optimize its network. Such features include Speed Hold'em, Personal Player Inbox, Players' VIP Progress Bar, Poker Calendar, My Friends, My Tokens and Anonymous table.

Shimon Akad, Playtech's VP operations commented: "It is a tremendous honour to win these awards at the EGR B2B Awards and be recognised by the global online B2B gaming community for the innovative work that our business experts have been doing. Innovation has always been key to Playtech's success and we aim to continue to innovate and provide our licensees with solutions that will help them be more profitable."
