Above Market Average SAO PAULO, Brazil, Sept. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TAM (BOVESPA: TAMM4, NYSE: TAM) announces operating data for August 2007, as disclosed by the Brazilian National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) today. (LOGO: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20060418/SPTU001LOGO) According to ANAC, TAM registered a decrease of 7.1% in domestic RPK (demand) compared to the same period last year, and 10.1% increase in domestic ASK (supply). In August, market demand decreased 3.7% and market supply increased 18.3%. TAM registered a domestic market share (RPK) of 49.3%, a 1.8 p.p. decrease compared to the same period in 2006. TAM�s domestic load factor was 62.2%, 3.0 p.p. higher than the market average 59.2%. In the international market, TAM registered 55.0% growth in RPK and 81.7% in ASK, compared to August 2006. The company attained market share of 65.3%, representing 10.8 p.p. growth year on year. TAM attained 66.7% load factor, 3.8 p.p. higher than the market average of 62.9%. The total scheduled yield for August 2007 has remained stable compared to July 07.
