ACQUISITION OF LONDON BASED PLANNING CONSULTANCY, FISHER WILSON PLANNING LTD

              THIRD ACQUISITION THIS WEEK - 8TH SINCE JUNE 2000



White Young Green Plc (WYG) the Engineering and Environmental Consultant, is
pleased to announce the acquisition of the whole of the issued share capital
of Fisher Wilson Planning Limited (FW).  This is WYG's third acquisition this
week and its eighth in the period since June 2000.  Yesterday the Company
reported record pre-tax profits of #4m up 22%.



FW are a town planning business based in London.  In the year to 30 April 2001
the audited accounts of the company adjusted for agreed future employment
packages of the shareholding directors show a turnover of #488,113 and profit
before tax of #101,000.  Net assets at that date were #120,977.



The consideration of #905,000 is being satisfied by the issue of #482,000 in
interest bearing loan notes and the issue of 234,350 shares in WYG.



The acquisition builds on the new skill of town planning introduced earlier in
the year with the purchase of MVM Planning Limited who have offices in Bristol
and Manchester.  FW has an excellent reputation with a blue chip client base
and will enable WYG to provide a service that complements both its own
existing engineering and environmental skills and the master planning skills
provided by the architects with whom WYG work.



This is the third acquisition the Company has announced in a week.  On 18
September the Company announced the acquisition of MCD Consult Limited and
Gemica Limited, trading as K T Cullen & Co Limited was announced on 20
September 2001.



Application will be made to the United Kingdom Listing Authority (UKLA) for
the consideration shares to be admitted to the Official List of the UKLA and
to the London Stock Exchange for admission for trading on its market for
listed securities and it is anticipated that dealings will commence on Tuesday
2 October.
