Result of AGM

Uranium Resources plc, the AIM listed uranium exploration and development company, held its Annual General Meeting today and all resolutions were duly passed.

The Company's Managing Director, Alex Gostevskikh, said, "The uranium market fundamentals remain strong and the current market emphasises the need for uranium deposits which can be developed and operated at well below US$50 per pound. Mtonya's sandstone-hosted uranium mineralisation is thought to be feasible within the same cost range as the uranium deposits of Wyoming and Kazakhstan. The 26-km long redox corridor at Mtonya has all attributes indicating that it could host a world-class uranium deposit amenable to in-situ recovery."
