Directors' Shareholding

The Board of Ted Baker PLC (the "Company") was notified on 29 March 2006 that
the Ted Baker Group Employee Benefit Trust (the "Trust") disposed of 249,028
ordinary shares in the Company on 29 march 2006 at a price of 510p (the
"Shares"). The Trust's holding is now nil.

Lindsay Page, finance director of the Company, is a member of the class of
discretionary beneficiaries of the Trust and is consequently taken as having an
interest in all shares in the Trust. As a consequence of the disposal of the
above Shares by the Trust, Lindsay Page is deemed to have disposed an interest
in these Shares.

In addition, the Company was notified on 29 March 2006 by the trustees of the
Ted Baker Group Employee Benefit Trust that Lindsay Page, Finance Director, had
on 28 March 2006, exercised options over 37,000 Ordinary shares at 193.5 pence
per share and then immediately sold them to institutional investors on 28 March
2006 at 510 pence per share. As a result of this transaction on 28 March 2006,
the holding for Lindsay Page remains unchanged at 293,837 shares, representing
0.7% of the Company's issued share capital.
