Ted Baker plc ("the Company") announces that on 27th October 2005 it
purchased 250,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 410 pence per
share to be held in treasury.


The Company now holds a total of 1,010,000 shares treasury.

The total number of shares in issue is 42,989,801 and the total number of shares
in issue excluding treasury shares is 41,979,801.
