William Sinclair Holdings Plc - Trading Update

William Sinclair Holdings Plc ("the Company"), one of the UK's leading producers 
of commercial horticulture and branded garden products, provides an update on 
trading.

The Company's on-going restructuring and recovery strategy has focused on margin
improvement and building on its high levels of customer service to improve
profitability.  In addition, in light of the recent good weather, William
Sinclair has experienced strong demand particularly from its retail division.

As a result of strong sales conditions though the Easter period and of continued
management action to reduce exposure to low margin business and to focus on
increasing higher margin sales activity, the Company also expects to materially
exceed current market expectations for its full year profitability.

The Company will be announcing its final results for the 12 months ended 30 June
2007 during September 2007.
