QuestAir receives order for H-3200 hydrogen purifier to be included
in BC Hydrogen HighwayTM infrastructure project

BURNABY, B.C. - QuestAir Technologies Inc. (AIM: QAR; TSX: QAR) a developer and
supplier of advanced gas purification systems for refinery, industrial and fuel
cell markets has received a C$165,000 order for a H-3200 hydrogen purifier to be
included in the Integrated Waste Hydrogen Utilization Project (IWHUP) in the
Vancouver area. Earlier today the Government of Canada and Sustainable
Development Technology Canada announced a contribution totaling C$12.2 million
to support the project.

Jonathan Wilkinson, President and CEO of QuestAir, said that the H-3200 system
will recover and purify hydrogen from a by-product stream emitted by a sodium
chlorate manufacturing plant in the North Vancouver area. The order was included
in QuestAir's sales order backlog as of September 30th 2005.

"Sodium chlorate plants and other industrial processes have the potential to
provide an important supply of low-cost hydrogen to support the
commercialization of fuel cell and other hydrogen-based technologies," said
Wilkinson, "For example, if all the by-product hydrogen was recovered from the
North Vancouver plant, it could provide fuel to a fleet of up to 20,000
hydrogen-powered vehicles in the Vancouver area, greatly reducing greenhouse gas
emissions."

The three-year IWHUP project, led by Sacre-Davey Innovations Inc. will
demonstrate a complete hydrogen value chain, including the recovery, storage,
distribution and use of hydrogen. Purified hydrogen recovered using QuestAir's
H-3200 system will fuel eight light-duty trucks running on hydrogen; four public
transit buses converted to run on a combination of compressed natural gas and
hydrogen; and a stationary fuel cell power plant providing electrical power and
heat to a car wash. The North Vancouver hydrogen fueling station of IWHUP will
be one of the key stops on the BC Hydrogen HighwayTM that will play a role in
sustainable transport demonstrations for the Vancouver/Whistler 2010 Olympic and
Paralympic games.

QuestAir's H-3200 purifies hydrogen-containing gas streams to high purity
hydrogen for use in industrial processes, hydrogen fueling stations and
stationary fuel cell power plants. The H-3200's optimized Pressure Swing
Adsorption ("PSA") process and proprietary rotary valve technology deliver
higher efficiency than conventional PSA systems in a more compact, cost
effective package. Since the product launch in 2003, QuestAir has sold more than
30 H-3200 systems to customers in Europe, Japan and North America.
