                       Pubs 'n' Bars plc ("the Company")

                          Director / PDMR Shareholding

The Company announces that on 24 October 2007, Mr Carmelo (Mel) Belligero (Chief
Executive Officer) and Mr Siva Namasivayam (Finance Director) were awarded
253,000 and 144,800 options respectively under the Company's Unapproved Option
Scheme, 1999 at an exercise price of 39 pence per share. The options are
exercisable by Mr Belligero and Mr Namasivayam on or after the third anniversary
of the date of grant. In total, Mr Belligero now holds 1,300,166 options over
new ordinary shares in the Company. In total, Mr Namasivayam now holds 419,520
options over new ordinary shares in the Company.
