Directorate Change and Appointment of Senior Independent Director

Mr Chris Sherwell, Senior Independent Director of NB Distressed Debt Fund Limited, will stand down from the Board with effect from 31 December 2019, as foreshadowed in the Company's interim accounts released in August 2019.

The Company's investment portfolio is in its realisation phase, and the move is part of a managed transition process reflecting the Company's reduction in size.

Mr Sherwell joined the Board at the Company's launch in 2010.

John Hallam, Chairman of the Company said:

"Chris has made an enormous contribution over the last nine years, constantly challenging both the investment manager and his board colleagues; we will miss his input. I am pleased to say that Stephen Vakil has agreed to take on the role of Senior Independent Director."
