    LUMINAR GROUP HOLDINGS PLC

    Announcement to the London Stock Exchange


    This notification is made in accordance with DTR 3.1.4(1)(a). 

    On 28 May 2008, Stephen Thomas acquired 7979 shares on the vesting of his 2005 Deferred Bonus under the Luminar Deferred Bonus Plan. The
shares were acquired for nil cost. 
    Mr Thomas sold 3,892 of the shares at 320.25p to cover income tax and employee's and employers' national insurance contributions for
which he was liable on the vesting of the 2005 Deferred Bonus (the "Tax Liability") and retained 4,087 shares. 
    The Company was informed of this transaction on 28 May 2008. 
    The shares were transferred to Mr Thomas from the Luminar plc Employee Trust. The shares sold to satisfy the Tax Liability were sold on
the London Stock Exchange.
