Appointment of Non Executive Director





Luminar is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr John Jackson (60) as an
independent Non-Executive director with immediate effect.



Currently, he is Executive Chairman of Victory Corporation plc and other related
Virgin Companies and Senior Non-Executive director of The Restaurant Group plc.



Previously, he was Chief Executive of Semara plc, Managing Director of Body Shop
International plc and Chairman and Managing Director of Chesebrough Ponds
Limited and Senior Non-Executive Director of Thornton's plc.



There are no other disclosures required under rule 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules
of the Financial Services Authority in connection with John Jackson's
appointment.
