amended. The correct pay date should have read '31st January 2006'. The rest of

The directors of Jupiter Second Split Trust PLC ("The Company") announce an
Interim Dividend in respect of the year ended 31st October 2005 of 1.10p net per
Geared Growth share payable on 31st January 2006 to Geared Growth shareholders
(and to holders of the Geared Growth shares within the Company's Packaged Units)
on the register at the close of business on 16th December 2005.
