                        ASX WAIVER - LIMPOPO ACQUISITION

Pursuant to an ASX announcement, GVM Metals Limited ("GVM" or the "Company"),
wishes to advise that the ASX has granted a waiver to the Company in relation to
Listing Rule 14.7 to the extent necessary to permit the Company to issue up to
20,812,500 shares in the Company to the vendors of an interest of 74% of Limpopo
Coal as approved by shareholders on 28 June 2006, by no later than 30 November
2006.
