8 May 2008 - European Goldfields Limited (AIM: EGU / TSX: EGU) announces that it
will publish its results for the first quarter ended 31 March 2008 on Wednesday
14 May 2008.

European Goldfields will host a conference call on Wednesday 14 May 2008 at 10:
00 a.m. ET / 3:00 pm (London, UK time) to update investors and analysts on its
