                      Board Changes
Clipper  Ventures plc ("Clipper Ventures") the AIM-quoted
yacht  racing  and  branded  boating  event  company,  is
pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Cooper  as
Managing  Director with immediate effect.  William  Ward,
currently Managing Director, will become Chief Executive.

Richard  joins  the  company from  the  Cultor  Group,  a
Helsinki-based  biotechnology,  food  and  feed  company.
Richard  was  a member of the group executive  committee,
and  President of Cultor Feed Ingredients,  a  subsidiary
grown from start-up to #60 million under his stewardship.
He has extensive experience of acquisitions, buy-outs and
joint   ventures  involving  both  public   and   private
companies.  Richard's brief at Clipper Ventures  will  be
the operational management of the company on a day to day
basis,  and to work with the Chief Executive and Chairman
to  implement  the  long  term  growth  strategy  of  the
business.

Richard  Cooper has purchased 300,000 ordinary shares  in
Clipper  Ventures  from Sir Robin Knox-Johnston,  William
Ward and Stassen Investments at a price of 69.5 pence per
ordinary  share. Prior to his appointment Richard  Cooper
held  20,000  shares in the company so  that  he  is  now
interested in 320,000 ordinary shares, representing  2.6%
of  the issued ordinary share capital in the company.  In
addition,  Richard has been granted options to  subscribe
for  400,000 ordinary shares of Clipper Ventures at  69.5
pence  per  share,  under the company's  executive  share
option plan.

Richard  has  long been interested in sailing adventures,
and  recently  became the first person to  Windsurf  some
2000 miles around Britain and Ireland

Sir  Robin  Knox-Johnson, Chairman of  Clipper  Ventures,
said:

experience  with international companies to  the  Clipper
board.  Furthermore,  as  the  only  man  to  have   ever
windsurfed around Britain and Ireland, he has  a  natural
link to the adventure experience offered by Clipper.

"His  experience of international deal-making will assist
in  leveraging the Clipper Ventures brand both in the  UK
and overseas. We are very pleased to have him on board."
