                    Dealing by substantial shareholder

The directors of Clipper Ventures PLC ("Clipper") were informed yesterday that
Corporate Synergy PLC has disposed of all of the 483,700 ordinary shares in
Clipper that it held, representing 5.1 per cent. of the issued share capital.
These shares were acquired by Clipper's brokers, Hoodless Brennan & Partners
Plc, who have placed substantially all of them with their clients.  As a result
Hoodless Brennan & Partners Plc no longer has a notifiable interest in Clipper.
