                          Transactions in MBFG shares


Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that between 8th
and 14th April 2008 it has purchased 274,818 ordinary shares in Mariella Burani
Fashion Group (MBFG) at an average price of Euro16.54 per share for a total
consideration of Euro4,546,785.

As a result of these transactions, BDH currently holds 18,145,418 ordinary
shares of MBFG, representing 60.67 % of the total outstanding shares of MBFG.
