                          Transactions in MBFG shares



Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that between 1
and 7 April 2008 it has purchased 269,901 ordinary shares in Mariella Burani
Fashion Group (MBFG) at an average price of Euro 17.22 per share for a total
consideration of Euro 4,647,009 and that it has also sold 200,000 MBFG shares at an
average price of Euro 17.02 for a total consideration of Euro 3,403,000.

As a result of these transactions, BDH currently holds 17,870,600 ordinary
shares of MBFG, representing 59.75 % of the total outstanding shares of MBFG.
