                      Transactions in BDH and MBFG shares



Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that on 20 March
2008 it has purchased 86,450 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of Euro 5.48
per share for a total consideration of Euro 473,746.

As a result of this transaction, the Company currently holds 682,290 ordinary
shares in treasury.

The Company has ordinary shares in issue of 74,921,526 (excluding shares held in
treasury).

Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces also that it has
purchased 251,410 ordinary shares in Mariella Burani Fashion Group (MBFG)
between 13 and 20 March 2008 at an average price of Euro 16.66 per share for a
total consideration of Euro 4,187,422.

As a result of these transactions, BDH currently holds 17,859,064 ordinary
shares of MBFG, representing 59.71 % of the total outstanding shares of MBFG.
