           BURANI DESIGNER HOLDING PROVIDES AN UPDATE ON TRANSACTIONS



   Joint venture with Chocolat s.r.l to develop network of premium ice cream
                                   boutiques





Burani Designer Holding N.V., (LSE AIM: BRDH), a company offering Italian
lifestyle products and services to customers world-wide, announces that its
subsidiary BDH Food Design s.r.l, which specializes in Italian fine foods, has
entered into a definitive binding agreement with Chocolat s.r.l, for the
establishment of a joint venture aimed at developing a network of premium
Italian ice cream boutiques in Italy and abroad under the Chocolat brand. The
joint venture will be set up through a newly incorporated special purpose
company, 50% owned by BDH Food Design and 50% by Chocolat s.r.l, which will
acquire the Chocolat brand.



Chocolat s.r.l has strong experience in the luxury ice cream market and will
provide BDH Food Design with its knowledge in the production and distribution of
premium ice cream.  BDH Food Design will contribute its extensive experience in
production, marketing and distribution of luxury goods internationally.



Update on potential acquisition



Furthermore, the company confirms that it has signed a non-binding letter of
intent with Italian entrepreneur Leandro Gualtieri  for the acquisition of an
equity interest in Societa delle Terme e del Benessere S.p.A ("STB"), a company
active in the management of luxury resorts and thermal spas in Tuscany, Italy.
Based on the letter of intent, the transaction under negotiation envisages the
acquisition by BDH of a 40% equity interest in STB S.p.A and voting rights over
a further 11% of STB S.p.A for five years. The positive outcome of the
negotiations will depend on a number of conditions, among which the conclusion
of a satisfactory due diligence.
