                          Transactions in MBFG shares


Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that it has
purchased 154,699 ordinary shares in Mariella Burani Fashion Group (MBFG)
between 21 and 25 January 2008 at an average price of Euro 16.1227 per share for a
total consideration of Euro 2,494,166.

The Company also announces that today 28 January 2008 it has purchased 117,552
ordinary shares in Mariella Burani Fashion Group (MBFG) at an average price of
Euro16.0693 per share for a total consideration of Euro 1,888,976 and sold 565,000
shares at an average price of Euro16.32  for a total consideration of Euro 9,220,800.

As a result of this transaction, BDH currently holds 17,675,752 ordinary shares
of MBFG, representing 59.10 % of the total outstanding shares of MBFG.
