                         RESPONSE TO PRESS SPECULATION



Burani Designer Holding N.V., (LSE AIM: BRDH) ("BDH"), a company offering
Italian lifestyle products and services to customers world-wide, notes the
article appearing today in the Italian magazine "Il Mondo". BDH confirms that it
has signed a non-binding letter of intent with Italian entrepreneur Leandro
Gualtieri for the acquisition of an equity interest in Societa delle Terme e del
Benessere S.p.A ("STB"), a company active in the management of luxury resorts
and thermal spas in Tuscany, Italy. The positive outcome of the negotiations
depends on the satisfaction of a number of conditions, including the conclusion
of satisfactory due diligence.
