                      Transactions in BDH and MBFG shares


Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that on 11
January 2008 it has purchased 5,550 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of
Euro 6.40 per share for a total consideration of Euro 35,520.

As a result of this transaction, the Company currently holds  280,040 ordinary
shares in treasury.

The Company has ordinary shares in issue of  75,323,776 (excluding shares held
in treasury).

Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces also that it has
purchased 31,535 ordinary shares in Mariella Burani Fashion Group (MBFG) between
7 and 11 January 2008 at an average price of Euro 22.1271 per share for a total
consideration of Euro 697,779. As a result of this transaction, BDH currently holds
17,694,353 ordinary shares of MBFG, representing 59.16 % of the total
outstanding shares of MBFG.
