                          Transactions in BDH shares



Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that on 8
January 2008 it has purchased 4,600 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of
Euro 6.80 per share for a total consideration of Euro 31,280.

As a result of this transaction, the Company currently holds 313,538 ordinary
shares in treasury.

The Company has ordinary shares in issue of 75,290,278 (excluding shares held in
treasury).
