                          Transactions in MBFG shares


Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that it has
purchased 173,594 ordinary shares in Mariella Burani Fashion Group (MBFG)
between 27 December 2007 and 4 January 2008 at an average price of Euro 18.46 per
share for a total consideration of Euro 3,205,018. As a result of this transaction,
BDH currently holds 17,662,818 ordinary shares of MBFG, representing 59.06 % of
the total outstanding shares of MBFG.
