                           Transaction in BDH shares


Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that on 10
December it has purchased 3,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of Euro
6.15 per share for a total consideration of Euro 18,450.  As a result of this
purchase, the Company currently holds 296,479 ordinary shares in treasury. The
Company has ordinary shares in issue of 75,307,337 (excluding shares held in
treasury).
