                           Transaction in BDH shares


Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that on 6
December it has purchased 30,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of
Euro6.10 per share for a total consideration of Euro183,000.  As a result of this
purchase, the Company currently holds 292,812 ordinary shares in treasury. The
Company has ordinary shares in issue of 75,311,004 (excluding shares held in
treasury).
