                           Transactions in own shares





Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that it has
purchased 233,887 ordinary shares in the Company between the dates of 7 August
2007 and 3 September 2007 at an average price of Euro7.59. All of the purchased
shares are being held in treasury to satisfy awards to executive directors and
certain employees of the Company under the BDH Free Shares Plan as described in
the Admission Document dated 15 June 2007. The total number of Ordinary Shares
over which awards have been granted under the BDH Free Shares Plan is 372,155.



As a result of these purchases, the Company currently holds 233,887 ordinary
shares in treasury.



The Company has ordinary shares in issue of 75,369,929 (excluding shares held in
treasury).
