              ACQUISITOR HOLDINGS INCREASES POSITION IN AIR METHODS

On 20 July 2004, the Company filed its Statement of Beneficial Ownership on
Schedule 13D/A Amendment No. 2 disclosing that it had acquired 500,000 shares of
Common Stock of Air Methods Corporation (AIRM - Nasdaq - $8.79) ("Air Methods")
taking its holding to 1,094,400 shares of Air Methods, or 10.1% of the shares
outstanding.

Acquisitor Holdings endeavors to achieve a high rate of capital growth for its
shareholders by acquiring significant holdings in companies, which the members
of its Board of Directors consider to be fundamentally sound but which are
valued at a discount to the Directors' estimate of their private market value.
