Development Securities (Investments) PLC are pleased to announce the
appointment with effect from today's date of Hugh Jenkins to the Board as a
Non-Executive Director. Hugh is currently Chairman of the Company's parent
Company, Development Securities PLC.

With the recent appointment of Marcus Rose to the Board of Development
Securities (Investments) PLC, Julian Barwick has resigned as a Director of
that Company from today's date. Both Marcus Rose and Julian Barwick continue
as Executive Directors of Development Securities PLC. Finally, Ben Du Brow has
tendered his resignation as a Non-Executive Director with effect from the 31st
March 2000, following nearly 6 years of service.
