ADRs End Mostly Lower, Sodexo, TotalEnergies Trade Actively

International stocks trading in New York closed mostly lower on
Wednesday.
The S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts
fell 0.3% to 152.06. The European index rose 0.3% to 149.24, the
Asian index dropped 1.2% to 173.22, the Latin American index
slipped 0.5% to 184.29 and the emerging markets index declined 1.2%
to 288.85.
ADRs of Sodexo SA closed up 12% to $21.96 after the French
catering contractor outlined a plan to split itself into two
companies and raised guidance for fiscal 2023.
ADRs of TotalEnergies SE rose 1% to $62.72 on the news that the
French company and the Iraqi government are moving ahead with an
investment plan to boost electricity production in the country.
