Industrial gas giant Air
Products (APD) will highlight its industrial gas-based
technologies and process improvement solutions at PBE 2013 in
Columbus, Ohio, from May 22-23. The company's technologies are
expected to help powder and bulk solids processors operate more
efficiently and economically.
Air Products' technical specialists can work together with powder
and bulk solids processors in order to find methods to handle a
variety of materials in many processes ranging from grinding to
dust collection more efficiently.
Air Products offers improved
cryogenic solutions for a wide range of applications starting from
size reduction and process cooling to common gases applications
support for inerting/blanketing, gas assist molding, and many more
uses that can improve productivity and lower operating costs.
Air Products will provide
assistance to PBE attendees at its booth to help them learn more
about the company's industrial gas-based technologies for the
powder and bulk solids market, including the PolarFit
ultra-fine-grinding mill. The combined usage of cooling power of
liquid nitrogen and size reduction mechanisms can allow the mill to
deliver finer and uniform particles which are better than other
mills currently on the market.
Air Products can examine the product of a powder or bulk solids
manufacturer at the production-scale trial lab in Allentown, Pa.,
to help the manufacturers determine the feasibility of using
cryogenics in their process and help in the evaluation of the
benefits against the costs .
Air Products will also present its complete range of industrial
gases with a variety of delivery options, specially designed to
match each customer's needs. Air Products provides traditional bulk
liquid and gas supply along with PRISM on-site gas generation
systems for larger volume users. For small volume customers the
company provides CryoEase microbulk solution a substitute to
cylinder supply that eliminates the hassle of cylinder
handling.
Air Products currently holds a short-term Zacks Rank #5 (Strong
