BRS Aerospace ("Ballistic Recovery Systems") of South St. Paul, Minnesota, USA (PINKSHEETS: BRSI) announced its 250th documented save when four people in a Cirrus SR20 SRV G3 single-engine aircraft were uninjured after deploying their BRS ballistic emergency parachute over unlandable rocky terrain in southern Norway on May 28th during an in-flight/enroute emergency. The pilot apparently lost control of the aircraft due to disorientation upon entering instrument (IMC) conditions and/or severe icing and elected to deploy his parachute.
