BRS Announces ISO 9001:2000 Quality System Attainment

Ballistic Recovery Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:BRSI), a manufacturer of
whole-airplane emergency parachute systems, announced today that
its 26,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Mexico has been
notified by an auditor from the International Standards
Organization (ISO) that the operation successfully passed its ISO
9001:2000 Quality Systems assessment. ISO is a network of the
national standards institutes from 157 countries and now recognizes
the BRS de Mexico plant as "maintaining and exercising systems
which meet very stringent requirements" in terms of its
manufacturing and quality procedures. The facility manufactures
parachute canopies and retaining systems as well as non-parachute
safety vests and other cut & sew products for a variety of US
and international customers. �This certification attainment means
our quality processes are transparent, robust, and consistent, all
critical factors for expanding this business to customers who are
increasingly demanding the highest level of quality at the lowest

Paul is undergoing preparation for ISO 9001:2000 certification in
