The VeraTemp thermometer represents a significant advancement in temperature measurement, because it makes it possible to instantly take the temperature without any skin contact whatsoever. The VeraTemp makes it easier to take an instant, accurate and precise body temperature measurement and the instant and non-invasive method is a great advantage when measuring the temperature of a sleeping infant, a fussy toddler or even a very ill older individual. To measure a person’s body temperature, simply aim at the individual’s forehead and press the ”Scan” button. In an instant, the VeraTemp measures the forehead and ambient temperature, completes thousands of calculations with a proprietary algorithm, and produces an accurate body temperature reading. The non-contact nature of the VeraTemp enables the users to also take accurate temperature of inanimate objects like babies’ bottle, bath water, food or nursery. The VeraTemp displays its readings on a large back-lit LED screen, reads temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit, has an Auto-off feature to conserve battery life, and has a built in memory that records the last 32 readings taken.
