Nitinat Appoints Ian Stewart to the Board of Directors

Nitinat Minerals Corporation (the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:NZZ) is pleased to
announce that Mr. Ian Stewart has been appointed to the board of directors of
the Corporation.
Mr. Stewart co-founded Stratacon Inc, the largest sub-metering company in Canada
in 1996 and finalized a sale of the company to the Consumers Water Heater Income
Fund in August 2008. Since the sale, Mr. Stewart continues to advise Stratacon
and maintains an active practice in international business development.
Mr. Stewart was appointed to the board of directors after the resignation of Mr.
Wayne Isaacs. Mr. Isaacs resigned to pursue personal projects. The Corporation
would like to thank Mr. Isaacs for his contribution to the Corporation and wish
him luck in his future endeavors.
The Corporation also announces that it has granted 400,000 stock options to a
director. Each option is exercisable at $0.25 per common share and is
exercisable at any time until May 9, 2015.
