                             Director Resignation

Stanelco Plc, the RF (radio frequency) applications group, has received notice
from Christopher H.B. Mills of his resignation as a director of the Company with
effect from 1 August 2003. This coincides with the termination date of his
current service contract.

Mr Mills has served as a non executive director of Stanelco Plc since 1991 and
was Chairman from 1994 to 2002.
