FREMONT, CA , a global provider of multi-service network and
voice exchange solutions for enterprise and government customers,
announced today that it will showcase its VX1800 Voice Exchange,
the latest offering in NET's VX Series intelligent media gateway
product line, in Booth #1421 at the Gaylord Palms Hotel during
VoiceCon in Orlando, Florida on March 17-20. The VX1800 enables
enterprise-class interoperability for high capacity voice-over-IP
(VoIP) and unified communications.
The VX1800, generally available earlier this year, is an
intelligent voice gateway that is purpose-built for enterprises to
seamlessly integrate their existing telecommunications
infrastructure with VoIP, unified communications, and enterprise
mobility solutions. Ideally suited for the large enterprise, the
VX1800 can support up to 5,000 users in a single-box solution with
redundant AC power and expandable software modules.
"The VX1800's interoperability features go beyond the
limitations of simple VoIP media gateways," said Talbot Harty, Vice
President and General Manager of NET's Voice & Mobility
Solutions Group. "We developed this product to offer the
scalability, interoperability and security that is critical to our
large enterprise customers as they progress their networks towards
VoIP, unified communications, and enterprise mobility
applications."
